Bella’s overall goal is to enable women and men to make life-affirming decisions concerning their unplanned pregnancies. This is accomplished by providing effective peer-counseling, education, emotional support, and practical help for those in unplanned pregnancies. Bella’s heart is to meet whatever needs the client has, so she in turn can make a decision that respects the sanctity of life.
Several years ago we adopted the slogan of “JUST DO IT.”
In order to achieve this objective, we have the following specific goals:
- Develop a marketing plan to reach abortion vulnerable women and provide a safe environment where she can come, with the other important people in her life, to explore her options;
- Establish the church community as the primary focus for our communications and relationship building, corporately and individually;
- Enhance our church exposure and contact by establishing and maintaining personal liaisons in each church;
- Maintain contact with local ministerial associations;
- Maintain our volunteer base by offering top quality training through seminars, retreats, and conferences;
- Increase awareness within the community of the services of Bella in an on-going effort to reach those who are in need;
- Maintain a sufficient financial base by developing individual support and holding two major fund raising events each year—the Walk For Life in the spring and the Dessert Gala in the fall.
